Transportation is the largest source of climate pollution in Washington. This pollution contaminates our air, our water, and the health of our communities—and is particularly harmful to people living near major highways, roads and other congested thoroughfares. Washington State has the opportunity to change this by passing a new transportation package that tackles pollution at its source.
Right now, our legislators are debating if and how to put in place a new package of investments for our transportation system. Legislators need to hear from you that we need to invest in a cleaner and more equitable system for all, by prioritizing transit, stormwater improvements, and climate pollution reduction measures.
