Stand up for climate action and stop Tacoma LNG

The Puget Sound Clean Air Agency is leading on climate action through their work on a regional Clean Fuel Standard. But, we can’t build a clean energy future by investing in dirty energy projects like Tacoma LNG.

The Air Agency's Board of Directors is made up of publicly elected officials from around Puget Sound that represent YOU. This precedent-setting decision requires action - it is time for them to intervene in this failed process and show their climate leadership.

Tell your representative on the Puget Sound Clean Air Agency Board: Fracked gas is bad for our climate, health, and safety.

Puget Sound Clean Air Agency Board:

  - Seattle Mayor Jenny Durkan
  - King County Executive Dow Constantine
  - Tacoma City Council Member Ryan Mello
  - Pierce County Executive Bruce Dammeier
  - Everett City Council Member and Board Chair Paul Roberts
  - Snohomish County Council Member Sam Low
  - Bremerton Mayor Greg Wheeler
  - Kitsap County Commissioner Edward Wolfe

Hello, my name is _____ and I live in ______.

I am calling to urge you to recognize the value of fully funding environmental programs. Environmental programs are a mere 1.9% of the state operating budget but these programs provide benefits to communities across the state through clean air, clean water, and thriving communities that make Washington a great place to live, work, and play.

Specifically, I hope you will adopt a final budget that maintains funding for existing environmental programs and provide new funding for:

- Oil spill prevention (HB 1611)

- Reducing toxic pollution (HB 2182)

- The Clean Air Rule

- Puget Sound recovery

Thank you for all of your hard work during the 2017 legislative session and for considering my comments. I look forward to hearing from you, I can be reached at __(Phone Number)__.
