Washington deserves to know the real risks of Kalama Methanol

Northwest Innovation Works is pushing to build a facility that would process 3.6 million tons of methanol per year on the shores of the Columbia River. This project would be the second largest pollution source in the state. Yet, in spite of the size of the project and enormity of the impacts, the review of the project has been deficient and limited.

Comment now: Tell the Port of Kalama and Cowlitz County that Washingtonians deserve to understand the true risks of this project to our climate, communities, and waterways.

Hello, my name is _____ and I live in ______.

I am calling to urge Senator Patty Murray to lead the fight against Trump’s disastrous environmental budget in the Senate Appropriations Committee.

The budget bill cuts funding that Washington State needs to clean up thousands of toxic sites, protect our beautiful environment, and ensure that our air and water are clean and safe for our families.

Senator Murray has been a reliable champion for the environment, and we need her leadership now more than ever to keep our communities safe and healthy.
